Description
I happened to come across Tobikera’s (Caddisflies) nest. The place is a stream right next to us.
It was another discovery of the world where you can walk around looking at the various works (nests) that Tobikera produces like treasure hunts. Tobikera larvae are underwater and nest in the vicinity of fallen leaves, branches, sand, pebbles, etc. It is a minnow in water. The nest form and the material used are different according to the seed. This adds to the change in materials due to the habitat, and a variety of nests appear.
They are all beautiful and full of charm. I feel that nature is amazing, and I am curious about the whereabouts and evolution of information that defines the behavior of building nests.
